Sri Lankas militær besætter det land, Eezham tamilernes forladte tamilske skoler for at konvertere dem til militærlejre. Besættelsesmagtens militære officerer har travlt i de seneste dage med at indsamle oplysninger om de forladte skoler i Vanni distrikter samt i Vadamaraadchi, Thenmaraadchi og øerne divisioner i Jaffna-distriktet. De besætter militær har bestilt den nordlige direktorat for uddannelse til at indsende oplysninger om alle forladte skoler til at lette militære stigende behov for infrastruktur. de ville Bruge de forladte skoler af 30 nye militære lejre som er planlagt på Jaffna-halvøen alene. Besættelsesmagtens militær har et bestemt program til første intenst militarisere og Sinhalicise øerne ud for Jaffna halvøen. Det gør ikke nogen hemmelighed om det til tamilerne tilbage på øerne.
